Access to a Dynamic Learning Community

ReciPROcity is a an organization that partners with your faculty to create online learning environments in a responsive and cost effective approach. Our focus area is higher education and adult learners.

We translate evidence-based research into strategies that work by developing faculty skills to create confident instructors knowledgeable in teaching with technology. MORE

Many faculty attempt the 'lone wolf' approach to building an online course. We believe everyone benefits from the interaction a vibrant online learning community brings to the process.

ReciPROcity facilitates the mutual relationship between skilled educational technologists and content experts to build quality digital learning spaces. We bring together people and resources.

Faculty Instructors in higher education are teachers.  However many were not taught in the way they are now expected to teach. They are not often skilled at creating interactive digital artifacts or learning modules with technology. When asked, the majority of faculty are not satisfied with the quality of faculty development training with the use of technology offered by their institutions.

Instructors are content experts who support research and practice that is evidence-based in their own discipline. When it comes to teaching however, an instructor today is more likely to construct a curriculum similar to what they experienced as a student, not what the current evidence may show has higher positive student learning outcomes.
